I found a tape that I used to have, and love:  scary. But my favorite songs were: Welcome to the Family, Praise the Lord Together, It’s Time to Praise the Lord…I must have really liked this one, because I remember so many of the songs…some of the melodies are coming back….I can still sing Welcome to the Family and It’s Time to Praise the Lord…yikes. lol. i’m actually humming them right now. sigh.

Sandi Patty? come on, Love in any Language was my signature song for a few years….oh wait that was the 90’s dang it. Oh but wait, she won her first two Dove awards in 1982. yes!! Ha! She is known as The Voice! And boy does her discography go one forever. How on earth do you describe her music….Gospel meets classical meets…ummmm…??Contemporary Christian…psh. like that means anything, or if it ever did.She did some children’s stuff for a brief time….the Friendship Company in 1989…

Oh OH…..The most amazing duet I ever heard…as a little girl… was Sandi Patty and Larnelle Harris….I’ve Just Seen Jesus… (and i still like it! but this version isn’t the best…but their voices are lovely together.)
