unbreakable

Fireflight’s newest release Unbreakable features an incredible rock anthem inspired by the story of the woman caught in adultery, told from her perspective. The first moment I heard the song on the radio, I was impressed by the creativity and musicality of this song. As I’ve been listening to a few of the other songs on their album, I am becoming a fan.  The message of this song and this album is awesome. New Release Tuesday has a great interview with the lead singer, Dawn Richardson. I was really impressed by what went into their whole recording process. The interview tells about how she almost lost her voice, which is interesting because last year I saw Fireflight at a hard music festival, and I remember thinking that her voice didn’t sound healthy, it turns out that I was right, and thankfully she got her voice checked out and with vocal training hopefully will be able to continue going strong.
